Crowns

When a tooth is badly cracked or damaged by decay, a crown is used to protect and replace the structure of that tooth. Crowns, sometimes called “caps,” are made from various materials but are all shaped to look like and function as the tooth it covers. Crowns are sometimes used to anchor bridges or removable partials, and are always placed on top of an implant. Porcelain crowns are also a cosmetic option for those seeking a more aesthetic smile.

At Brookdale Dental we offer one appointment, custom shaded and fit crowns using CERAC (CAD/CAM) technology. This method is ideal because it requires no messy impressions, no temporary crowns, no second injection and is normally completed in only two hours.
